This project was created for Greg Ory of Cypress, a project manager in the oil and gas industry who has a background in architecture. We built a hip roof patio cover measuring 20′ across x 16′ deep. The homeowner was very specific in that he wanted a patio cover addition that did not look like an addition. The hip roof was engineered with Anthony Power glue lam beams designed to span the wide length without the a third post across the back. The treated posts were wrapped with matching brick and a nice fire pit was centered to the rear of the patio. The pavers were removed and we poured a beautiful stamped concrete patio. The homeowner chose the stamp design, the base color and the release color. A matte finish sealer was added to complete the patio slab. Ceiling fans and LED recessed lights were added to finish the project. This project was completed within the homeowner’s budget which included architectural stamped drawings and permit fees.
“Coming from having many years experience in architecture, my expectation for excellence and attention to detail was very high. David and his team did an amazing job. Great communication from start to finish. He attacked all onsite challenges both quickly & professionally. I have fully recommended him to my family and friends and plan to use him again in the near future. Thanks again” – G. Ory
